On last Saturday (98/09/12) Karlsruhe, Germany, staged its first official
NR tourney. We had a very respectable turnout with 8 people from "all over 
Germany" (including the current national champion and the two most successful 
Germans from World Domination) and 4 (weefles) from Karlsruhe (and around). 
The format was Sealed Deck (one starter, two 1.0 booster), 
4 rounds Swiss system, scoring by GMP, tiebreaker opponents' GMP total.
Prizes were donated by WotC (thanks, Jennifer!).

The next tournament of Karlsruhe City Grid is tentatively scheduled for 
November 7th. It will be Sealed Deck again (entry fee DM 15 including 
one double-starter and two 1.0 boosters).
