From: Self To: NR-L,TRC-L Subject: Karlsruhe City Grid tourneys #6, #7 and #8 Copies to: Matthias Nagy, Matthias von Thadden Send reply to: lk@system.ptv.de Date sent: Mon, 29 Mar 1999 13:46:20 +0200 Last weekend Karlsruhe City Grid, Germany, staged the "South German Open". As suggested by WotC / the DCI, we used an special name for the event (not including "Netrunner"), but that didn't help the turnout. Some possible candidates were sick, some away (e.g. to play WDQ in Kiel, of all places!) and one had to play in a Bridge competition. Due to the very quick assistance by Matthias von Thadden from Amigo Germany, two tournaments were DCI sanctioned (the third possibly not, because it hadn't been announced beforehand). Prizes were donated by Amigo (thanks, Matthias!) and WotC US (thanks, Jennifer!). Saturday, 99/03/27: South German Open Part 1 (Sealed Deck) Final result: opp. DCI# TRC Tag GMP GMP gam mat AP 1.
